Step 1. Begin by unscrewing the current shower head from the shower arm (pipe) in a counterclockwise direction, making sure not to unscrew the shower arm itself.
Step 2. Next, attach the shower filter onto the shower arm by turning it clockwise.
Step 3. Then, install the shower head onto the opposite side of the diverter valve by turning it clockwise.
Step 4. If any leaks occur, simply tighten or reinstall as needed.
