Choosing a commercial water filtration system
Commercial water treatment is rarely one box. It's a short train of equipment, each stage solving one problem, sized to the building's peak flow in gallons per minute and, for RO, its daily gallons. Start with a water test and a flow number; the table below maps the common problems to the stage that fixes them, and our team will size and quote the full train from your report.

Commercial reverse osmosis: sizing by gallons per day
Commercial RO systems are rated in gallons per day (GPD) of permeate at a standard feed pressure and temperature; real output drops on cold, high-TDS feed water, so size with 25–30% headroom. Most systems run into an atmospheric storage tank with a repressurization pump rather than feeding fixtures directly, which lets a smaller RO run continuously instead of a large RO running in bursts. Hard feed water should be softened first — hardness is the fastest way to scale an RO membrane.

Commercial backwashing filters: one valve, seven media
The Clack WS2 Commercial Filtration System is a 2″ Clack WS2 EE valve on a fiberglass tank you specify by media, so the same hardware handles most non-hardness problems. Service and backwash flow depend on tank size and media — the PDP has the full flow table.
