Connected Series Water Softener Carbon Filter Combo With Bluetooth Control Valve
The Connected Series Water Softener Carbon Filter Combo is a two-tank whole-house system for municipal water: a 64,000-grain softener with 10% crosslink resin removes hardness, and an upflow carbon filter loaded with Jacobi granular activated carbon removes chlorine, taste and odor. Both tanks run on Connected Series Bluetooth control valves, so you set up, monitor and adjust the system from your phone instead of the valve faceplate. A Big Blue 5-micron sediment pre-filter, brine tank, bypasses and fittings are all in the box.

Connected Series features
Bluetooth control valve. Pair the valve with the Connected Series app to program regeneration, check remaining capacity, see water usage and get maintenance alerts on your phone. 10% crosslink resin resists chlorine and iron attack better than standard 8% resin, so it lasts longer on treated city water. Upflow carbon filter — water flows up through the Jacobi GAC bed, which uses the whole bed for contact time and doesn't need a backwash cycle or drain line for the carbon tank. Sediment protection — the 5-micron Big Blue housing catches grit before it reaches either valve. Install order is sediment → carbon → softener → house, which also protects the resin from chlorine.
