Pelican Water Filtration Systems employ a combination of advanced technologies to ensure your water is free from impurities and contaminants. The typical system includes multiple stages:
Pre-filtration: This initial stage captures larger particles and debris, protecting the downstream filters and ensuring the system operates efficiently.
Activated Carbon Filtration: In this stage, activated carbon removes chlorine, taste, and odor from the water, significantly improving its taste and smell.
Ion Exchange: This process targets and removes specific impurities and contaminants, such as heavy metals and nitrates, further purifying the water.
Reverse Osmosis: For systems that include this stage, a semi-permeable membrane is used to remove even the smallest impurities, providing exceptionally clean and safe drinking water.
By combining these technologies, Pelican Water Systems ensures that your water is not only safe to drink but also tastes great.
To keep your Pelican Water Filtration System running smoothly and effectively, regular maintenance is essential. The frequency of filter replacement varies depending on the type of system and usage, but generally, filters should be replaced every 6-12 months.
