The Waterdrop G3P800 is the top of the G3 tankless line: 800 gallons per day (a glass in about 6 seconds), a 3:1 pure-to-drain ratio, NSF/ANSI 58 and 372 certification, and the one feature the G3P600 and G3 don't have, a UVC-LED sterilizer on the outlet that reduces bacteria and viruses by 99.9%. It's the model for a household of four or more, for anyone who wants disinfection built in rather than added later, and for the lowest water-to-drain of any under-sink RO we sell.

Who the G3P800 is for
Choose the G3P800 over the G3P600 if any of these apply: four or more people drawing filtered water, a coffee or tea habit that empties a tank-style RO, a well or an older municipal system where you want a UV stage, or a preference for the lowest drain ratio. If none apply, the G3P600 gives the same certification and faucet for $310 less, and the G3 is the entry point. See the comparison table below.
What it removes
Nine stages: a sediment and carbon pre-filter, the RO membrane, a coconut carbon block, and the UVC-LED. Certified reduction of TDS to NSF/ANSI 58, and tested reduction of:
- Chlorine, chloramine, taste and odor, scale, turbidity
- Lead, mercury, arsenic, chromium (hexavalent and trivalent), cadmium, barium, copper, aluminum, radium 226/228
- Fluoride, nitrite, cysts
- PFOA and PFOS, benzene, formaldehyde, bisphenol A, chlordane, asbestos and other organics
- Bacteria and viruses, 99.9% via the UVC-LED (lamp life up to 50 years; it runs only while water flows)

Installation and requirements
- Power: a grounded outlet under the sink. Main cable 90″, faucet cable 59″. It usually shares the disposal or dishwasher outlet; check you have a free socket.
- Feed water: municipal tap water, 41–100°F, 14.5–87 psi. Waterdrop doesn't rate the G3 series for untreated well water; on a well, put it after your softener and iron filter, and see RO for well water or call us first.
- Holes: one 1″ hole for the smart faucet (or use the existing sprayer hole) and a drain-saddle connection on the tailpiece.
- Not for: feeding a refrigerator or ice maker from a tankless unit; use the faucet only.
- After a softener: fine for the membrane, but sodium from the softener can affect taste; a remineralization cartridge fixes it.
- Time: about 30 minutes with the included fittings, T-adapter, drain saddle and 3 × 60″ tubing.
- Filter changes: twist-out, no tools, no water shut-off; the faucet tells you when.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Waterdrop G3P800 NSF certified? Yes: NSF/ANSI 58 for reverse osmosis performance and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free materials, plus SGS and CSA testing.
Does it need a tank? No. The booster pump and 800 GPD membrane make water on demand, so there's no tank, no stale water and 70% more cabinet space.
Can I use it on well water? Waterdrop rates it for municipal supply. On a well it works if iron, hardness and sediment are treated ahead of it; the UV stage is a real advantage there. Call us with your water test.
G3P800 vs G3P600? Same certification and faucet. The G3P800 adds 200 GPD, a better drain ratio and the UVC-LED for $310 more. Worth it for larger households or if you want UV; otherwise the G3P600.
How loud is the pump? A low hum while water is drawn, comparable to a refrigerator; silent otherwise.
